We will learn about the Russian Artist Wassily Kandinsky this week and have fun recreating our own masterpieces.
In September we explored how and why we are all so unique and special. We discovered that while we may be different we can come together to create something amazing. We created our own patchwork quilt. A patchwork quilt is made up of many different squares of material. Our patchwork quilt is made up of 27 children and two teachers. Each patch is different but together we create a wonderful blanket of friendship. Take a look at the our class quilt created using our unique hand prints below.
We used chalk pastels to decorate our names for our wall.
We were working hard this week developing our cutting skills. Our finished products are displayed on our classroom door and outside our classroom. After carefully cutting out our umbrella character we then had fun painting, mixing the primary colours red, blue and yellow to make secondary colours.
